Champion Team - Register Your Interest

Our Champion Team is where driven dancers level up. You will train regularly with specialised sessions and represent The Dance Spot at selected events. We have a proven record across regional comps and world‑level qualifications. Adults and under 18s can apply. Selection is invite only following an assessment in class, and we explain everything 1 to 1 when you attend.

This pathway suits dancers with some experience and confidence who can commit to steady progress. You must be attending classes with us and keeping up regular home practice. Competitions are mostly Sundays with occasional shows on Saturdays or Sundays, not every weekend.

Pathways include solos, duos and quads within the Champion Team, with separate crew teams. Dancers are placed in categories such as Beginner, Novice, Intermediate or Advanced.

Training Regular class-based training plus focussed sessions. Schedule confirmed with the team.
Events UDO, BDO, HHI, Soar, Unified, 101 and more.
Commitment Be consistent, work hard, show teamwork and resilience.
Costs Pay per class, pricing and length to be confirmed. Uniform required. Team costumes are a one‑time purchase per year.

Under 18s must attend events with their own parent or guardian unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing. We do not provide chaperones for competitions or events. For dancers aged 16 and over, attendance is at parent or guardian discretion. Teachers do not transport anyone under 18 to events.

Photography and filming consent is required for competitions and may be used for event entry, results and school promotions.

Selection for the team is invite only following an in-class assessment. Just keep attending your regular class, and we’ll arrange a 1 to 1 chat to explain how it all works.
