Booking Terms & Conditions
By making a booking with The Dance Spot Clacton-on-Sea, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Trial Bookings & Non-Member Bookings
- All trial or one-off class bookings are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
- By booking a trial or PAYG session, you agree to be contacted by The Dance Spot Clacton-on-Sea via email, phone, or SMS for class feedback, rebooking options, and membership offers.
- You can opt out of future communication at any time by contacting us directly.
2. Photo & Video Consent
- By booking a class, you agree to our
Photo and Video Consent Policy.
- This includes the possibility of appearing in promotional photos or videos.
- If you do not consent, please notify us in writing before attending your class.
3. Medical Conditions, Allergies & Emergency Preparedness
- It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or allergies that may affect participation.
- Information must be kept up to date at all times.
- If the participant is under 18 and has a condition requiring possible intervention (e.g., asthma, diabetes, severe allergies), a responsible adult must remain on-site during the session.
- Our team cannot administer medication unless agreed in writing.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- Trial and PAYG bookings are non-refundable unless a session is cancelled by us.
- If we cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, a reschedule or class credit will be offered where possible.
5. Behaviour & Respect
- We expect respectful, inclusive behaviour at all times from both participants and accompanying adults.
- Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the class without refund.
6. Lateness & Early Collection
- Please arrive on time and collect promptly at the end of class.
- Late arrivals of more than 10 minutes may not be allowed to join the class for safety reasons.
7. Liability & Insurance
- We take all reasonable steps to provide a safe environment but cannot accept liability for injury or personal property loss unless caused by proven negligence.
- Appropriate dancewear and footwear must be worn at all times.
8. Safeguarding
- All staff working with children are DBS-checked and follow safeguarding best practices.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for the safe arrival and collection of children outside class times.
