Meet Brad, our dedicated lead instructor at The Dance Spot Clacton-on-Sea.

Brad's dance journey began at the age of 8, achieving early success as a world champion dancer, winning multiple championships both as a young dancer and as a teenager. Thanks to his early training, Brad received scholarships at prestigious institutions like Wilkes Academy and Masters Performing Arts, where he further honed his skills.

In his professional career, Brad has worked with various artists in music videos and has been part of film productions, including an unforgettable experience working alongside Dame Judi Dench. His live performances have captivated audiences, showcasing his versatility and passion for dance.

Brad is equally committed to teaching and student welfare. He is extensively trained in safeguarding, holds an enhanced DBS certification, and places a strong emphasis on mental health, having spent two years studying it alongside his dance teaching.

Why Teaching?

Brad founded The Dance Spot because he felt that hip hop dance needed better representation locally. He wanted to create a specialised school to make a significant impact on the dance scene in Clacton-on-Sea and modernise it by teaching foundational roots. Brad believes that great training during youth is essential for setting strong foundations and achieving professional levels later in life. His background in mental health counselling has inspired his unique coaching approach, helping students become the best versions of themselves.
